Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], October 27 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will visit Delhi on Monday to meet Union ministers and other leaders.
The Chief Minister departed from Jaipur on a special flight at 8:30 am and is scheduled to arrive at Delhi Airport at 9:25 am. He will proceed directly from the airport to Jodhpur House, New Delhi, where he is expected to hold meetings with Union ministers and leaders from 10:15 am to approximately 6:00 pm.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma approved financial assistance for the dependents of those who lost their lives and for the injured in the recent fire accident involving an AC sleeper bus travelling from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur, a press release stated.
The Chief Minister stated that the state government stands with the families of the deceased in this hour of grief. The government is committed to providing them with full support and the best possible treatment for the injured.
Financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh each has been approved for the dependents of the deceased. Families with three or more people killed in the accident will receive Rs 25 lakh each. The seriously injured will receive Rs 2 lakh each, and the other injured will receive Rs 1 lakh each. Mr Sharma granted this approval by relaxing the Chief Minister's Relief Fund rules, as stated in a press release.
Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the grand exhibition of "Nav Vidhan: A New Identity of Justice", which is based on new criminal laws, at the JECC, Sitapura.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and acting Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court, Sanjeev Prakash Sharma, were also present at the event. According to the Government of Rajasthan, the exhibition showcased the judicial process through live demos in 10 zones and models, spanning three phases. This exhibition provided visitors with detailed information about crime reporting--from the initial investigation to the final judicial decision--in a straightforward manner. (ANI)
