On the extradition of 26/11 Mumbai attacks accused Tahawwur Rana to India, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Thursday issued a strong statement.

MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, "Pakistan may try very hard, but its reputation as the epicentre of global terrorism will not diminish."

He further added, "The extradition of Rana serves as a reminder to Pakistan that it needs to bring to justice other perpetrators of the Mumbai attacks, whom it continues to shield..."

Rana is a key accused in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks that killed more than 160 people. India had been seeking his extradition for a long time and has now succeeded in bringing him back.
