Pawan Kalyan's OG sets new Day 1 box office collection record for Indian cinema in 2025

Pawan Kalyan's much-awaited film, They Call Him OG aka OG, finally arrived in theatres on September 25, 2025. The film opened on a smashing note at the box office amid mixed reviews. With this massive opening, the Pawan Kalyan film has surpassed other big films of 2025, including Coolie (Rs 65 crore), Chhava (Rs 31 crore) and Saiyaara (Rs 21.5 crore). Besides this, the film also beat Pawan Kalyan's last film Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which minted Rs 16 crore on the day 1 at the domestic box office.


Now, coming to the worldwide collection, OG has had a strong start. It earned $3 million (Rs 26 crore) from just paid premiered in North America. This early success sets the stage for a massive opening day at the box office. The film is likely to cross Rs 150 crore worldwide on its first day itself.
