Sawan Somwar 2025: The month of Sawan is considered to be the most sacred and fruitful for the worship of Lord Shiva. Especially Monday is very auspicious for Shiva devotees. 1. Belpatra (Bilvapatra)
Belpatra is very dear to Shiva. It is believed that by offering Tridal Belpatra, all three types of sins (mind, word, and deed) are destroyed. On the last Monday of Sawan, write 'Om Namah Shivaya' on the Belpatra and offer it; this will fulfill your wishes soon.

2. Raw Cow Milk

3. Ganga water

It is mentioned in Shiv Puran that offering Ganga water on Shivling eliminates all types of defects and side effects. It is believed that Ganga resides in the matted locks of Lord Shiva; hence, Ganga water is especially dear to him.

4. Bhasma (Vibhuti)

Lord Shiva loves ash very much. Offering Vibhuti on Shivling purifies the soul and brings positive energy into the life of a person.

5. White Sandalwood

Applying a tilak of white sandalwood on Shivling on the last Monday of Sawan calms the mind and gives knowledge. This remedy is considered to be especially beneficial for students and seekers.

6. Dhatura and Aak flowers
According to mythological belief, Dhatura and Aak are very dear to Lord Shiva. By offering them, a person becomes free from the poisonous and negative effects. This remedy especially protects from enemies.

7. Pure Ghee lamp
By lighting a lamp of pure Desi Ghee in front of Shivling, Lakshmi arrives in life. This lamp attracts Goddess Lakshmi and removes obstacles related to money.
