Trump Tariff: Tensions between America and North Korea have reached their peak many times, but despite this, the Trump administration has not imposed any new tariffs on this country.

US President Donald Trump has recently imposed heavy tariffs on India, China, and many other countries, but there are some countries on which Trump has not announced any tariffs yet. North Korea and Russia are among those countries. North Korea is the same country that has long been known for threatening and challenging the US.
US President Donald Trump did not name countries like Russia and North Korea in his new tariff policy, while imposing heavy tariffs on other countries. The reason behind this is that these countries already have high sanctions and tariffs imposed on them, due to which trade between the two countries has become almost negligible.
The reason behind not announcing tariffs against North Korea and Russia is that trade between the two countries has already decreased due to high sanctions and tariffs. According to White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt, "Meaningful trade cannot take place with these countries due to US sanctions, so additional tariffs are not needed.
Amidst Trump's announcement of tariffs on several countries, another news has come to the fore. American late-night show hosts Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon have criticized the decisions of US President Donald Trump, in which he has imposed heavy tariffs on several countries including India. Trump has imposed 50% duty on Indian products, on which both of them took a jibe on their show.
Jimmy Fallon's sarcasm
On his show The Tonight Show on Thursday night, Jimmy Fallon said that Trump has imposed tariffs on more than 90 countries so far. He joked that now only two places are left - North Korea and Jeffrey Epstein's private island 'Little Saint James'. Fallon warned that imposing tariffs on Brazil could cause the prices of bananas, mangoes and pineapples to skyrocket. He joked, 'Edible arrangements are safe as long as you don't increase the price of melons and long toothpicks.'
Stephen Colbert's quip
On his show Saturday night, Stephen Colbert said that Trump's doubling of tariffs on India to 50% will increase the price of things like gauze, bandages and wadding. He quipped, "This is the right time to launch my new product 'Steve's Wad'. What's in it? What difference does it make, you're bleeding."
