It was during Danny's visit to get a haircut from Hilaria that she casually let slip about her recent cosmetic tweak. She casually inquired with him: "So you know I did a procedure?" To which he jokingly responded: "I kept sneaking a peek."
Hilaria, with a chuckle, then hinted at a previous off-camera chat: "You were like 'if the cameras are not here I will literally be like OK show me'."
Continuing her story, she hinted at the reason behind her choice, sharing, "Well, I was breastfeeding for so long and so I decided to do a little like - a little - up, yeah?"
However, Hilaria stopped short of giving away precise details or medical terms regarding the exact nature of the cosmetic procedure she opted for.
Opening up to the camera, she revealed: "I've been pregnant and or breastfeeding for over a decade. I think this is the first time I've not been pregnant or had to breastfeed since I started having kids. I got used to my body more or less a certain way then as most women know who breastfeed and the milk goes out, it's a different much lower reality."
Elaborating further, she added: "It almost felt like my body wasn't my body anymore because I was so used to it being a certain way. My decision, my journey was I breastfed, I felt comfortable in the way I looked before. I didn't look that way once the milk dried up and I made a choice."
In a heart-to-heart conversation with Danny, she explained her decision: "So it's just to make myself feel OK and that's OK."
Danny gave his supportive take on the matter: "By the way almost all of my girl friends who have had kids, have had (it) done."
Yet, Hilaria also confessed that she faced external pressure to undergo the procedure and expressed concern over how this might affect her 11 year old daughter.
Concerned about the message it sends, she expressed: "I worry about Carmen. She's a tween. Every time I do something that is in the realm of vanity, I don't want them to feel that they (the children) have to be a certain way and I want to protect Carmen. Because I've experienced a lot of self doubt and listened to the criticism more than I should have from opinions."
The Baldwins is streaming weekly on Discovery+.
