Ahead of the release of Victoria Beckham's Netflix documentary, Celebrity Big Brother star Liz Jones has said the former Spice Girl gave her post traumatic stress disorder.
Writing a first-person piece, Liz headlined her piece: "I've seen the real Victoria Beckham... her actions gave me PTSD" but started by discussing the documentary, which follows Victoria's fashion career, and praised the singer for taking a chance on starting a business instead of putting her feet up like she could've done given husband David Beckham's football wealth.
However, before long, Liz was diving into her personal history with Victoria. "I first met Victoria at the British Fashion Awards in the late Nineties. She was as small as a sparrow in a Julien Macdonald cobweb dress, and although I was the editor of a fashion magazine, Marie Claire, she still gazed over my shoulder, searching for someone more useful to butter up."

She added in her column for the Daily Mail that their next encounter was "even less warm". Liz had organised a cover shoot for Marie Claire with Victoria and it was to happen in Paris. She said the organisation was so stressful that "even now, calling her new PR triggers my PTSD".
Liz explained how Victoria complained about the Eurostar, despite almost missing it. "Victoria and her entourage almost missed the Eurostar. She insisted on bringing her new baby, Brooklyn; a message I received from the train was that the carriage ‘doesn’t look first class."
According to Liz, the rest of the shoot went well, but everything "kicked off when [Victoria] arrived back in London". The former editor said Victoria hated the headline and threatened to sue if a picture of her and then baby Brooklyn was included. "She was a tiger mum from the start," Liz wrote.
"Victoria is all about control," Liz added when discussing how she felt the singer disliked her more when she moved to the Daily Mail. She added that when she attended the launch of Victoria's ad campaign for Marc Jacobs in 2008, she was immediately told "on no account could I approach Victoria, and that I also ‘must not look at her’."
"Do not even glance in her direction," the PR is reported to have said. Liz went on to explain how she was "barred" from further Victoria Beckham shows, despite positively reviewing her work.
The former editor then continued to heap praise onto Victoria, who she said was talented, even if she still feels like "acne-ridden teenager, desperate to belong" as she is reported to describe herself in the new documentary.
But Liz then added that we shouldn't "blame [Victoria] too much" for her rude behaviour. "Don’t blame her too much. It’s easy for those who find themselves accepted into that luxe world, from the influencers to the editors and the clients, to have their heads turned. When Victoria lost her luggage at Heathrow, her first thought was to have a minion call Dolce and Gabbana, who duly couriered a complete wardrobe to her home. It’s an entitled world, you see it all the time."
The Mirror has reached out to Victoria's reps for comment.
