Actors typically update their headshots when looking to pursue new roles, and fans quickly jumped to the conclusion that Julia could be preparing to leave the cobbles behind - especially given a slew of exits from the soap were already announced over the past few months.

Earlier this year Julia opened up about how difficult it’s been to say goodbye to some of her on-screen family and friends. She made a special mention of Paddy Bever, who played her stepson Max Turner.

At the time viewers were worried that Shona might be murdered by evil serial killer Stephen Reid to explain Julia's absence, but in the end there was a much simpler explanation for her temporarily leaving Weatherfield.
The character went to London for a six-week stint with Lily Platt as the girl trained to become a professional footballer. Julia was later praised for her incredible figure as she posted videos of herself in a bikini while on a family holiday in Santorini just eight months after giving birth.
When her baby was born, she shared a photo of her holding the newborn alongside her husband Ben Silver, telling followers: "On Saturday our little girl arrived. We’re absolutely elated and Franklin is besotted with his little sister, Emmeline Beanie Silver. She’s perfect."
