It's been revealed that whilst talking to Mickey about drag artists like Danny, JoJo says: "It's beautiful to see how the drag community has elevated over the years." Mickey asks: "It's ok to say drag?" He's told: "Yeah - drag queens." Mickey says: "It gets confusing." JoJo says: "Anything is okay to say in context and intention - that's what matters. And if you say something wrong but you didn't know and you're open to hearing - all good!"
The conversation comes after Mickey receives a formal warning from Big Brother for "offensive and unacceptable" language over a separate conversation with JoJo regarding her sexuality. Mickey apologises to her after the incident.
ITV's teaser ahead of the episode reveals that it begins with Mickey asking JoJo where the "cigarette room" is located in the house. He goes on to ask her: "Do you like girls or boys?" She then tells him: "Me? Girls. My partner is non-binary."
Mickey says to JoJo: "If I stay longer than four days, you won't be gay anymore." Addressing the actor's remark, JoJo assures him during the conversation: "I can guarantee I'll still be gay and I'll still be in a very happy relationship."
The teaser adds that then whilst in the garden, Mickey asks reality TV star Chris if everyone has to vote each another out of the house. Mickey - known for films like the Wrestler (2008) - says: "I'm going to vote the lesbian out real quick." Singer JoJo responds: "That's homophobic, if that was your reasoning." Chris says: "You can't do that Mickey."
Mickey then says: "I need a fag." Gesturing to JoJo, he says: "I'm not talking to you." Chris tells him: "Mickey, you can't say that." Mickey says: "I know. I was talking about a cigarette." Chris is said to later comfort JoJo who is left "upset".
Shortly afterwards, Mickey is called to the Diary Room. Big Brother tells him: "Mickey before you entered the Big Brother house the rules regarding unacceptable language and behaviour were explained to you."
Big Brother then reads back the exchange to Mickey before asking: "Do you understand how this language could be offensive to your Housemates or the viewing public?" Mickey says: "Yeah I think so. If I was saying it in a nasty kind of way or if I truly meant it."
He's then told: "Mickey, Big Brother thinks your language was offensive and unacceptable." Mickey says: "Alright. I can understand that." Big Brother says: "As a result, Big Brother is giving you a formal warning. Further language or behaviour of this nature could lead to you being removed from the Big Brother house. Mickey, do you understand?" He replies: "Yes I do. It's some serious stuff."

Asked by Big Brother if there is anything he would like say on the matter, Mickey says: "I apologise. I don't have dishonourable intentions - I'm just talking smack you know. I wasn't taking it all so serious. I didn't mean in it any bad intentions and if I did, sorry."
After leaving the Diary Room, Mickey says that he didn't "say it out of meanness". Chris says: "I understand you might have thought it would be uninsulting but it's the way it's perceived on other people." He adds that JoJo was "very upset earlier". Mickey says to JoJo: "You were? Sorry. Are we ok?" She tells him: "As a future, using the word f** is not an acceptable word."
Later, after the housemates try to help him understand why his comments caused offense, Mickey says to JoJo: "I want to apologise. I've got a habit of having a short fuse. And I don't mean nothing by it. I do mean it [sorry]. If I didn't, I wouldn't say it to you." JoJo says: "I appreciate your apology."
Mickey expressing confusion over terminology related to the drag community comes after he attracted praise for asking Big Brother how to refer to drag artist Danny in last night's episode. Some fans on X said that he had been "respectful" asking about which pronouns to use moving forward.
Whilst complimenting Danny in the Diary Room, Mickey said: "I don't know how to refer to him or her?" He was told: "Big Brother suggests you refer to Danny as she when in drag and he or they when not." Mickey said then that it "gets confusing" before further praising Danny in the scene.
Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight from 9pm on ITV, ITVX, STV and STV Player. It will be followed by companion show Late & Live on ITV2 and ITVX from 10pm.
