Owning certain rare coins can certainly make you pocket extra money. Whether you have the one penny which is the "rarest in UK history" or a 50p that is 'skyrocketing' in value, some are definitely more special than others.
Now if you fancy early retirement, these four rare coins could be hiding somewhere in your stash and they're worth loads. Instagram user @CoinCollectingWizard has garnered 31,400 followers on the platform where he shares the designs to keep an eye out for. And in a recent video, the expert shared the four coins that "will make you retire". So do you own any of these?
In the clip, he began: "Coins that will make you retire." He first listed the 1933 UK penny which is highly sought-after by collectors due to its scarcity contributing significantly to market value.

He explained: "If you happen to have a 1933 UK penny in your possession, then you are 100% rich and can easily sell this coin for over £100,000."
Next up was the 1983 New Pence Two Pence coin from the UK which is special due to a specific transition in design of the coin.
"In 1983 the Royal Mint began the process of changing the inscription on the two pence coin from New Pence to Two Pence," he revealed.
"If you find this rare coin, you are looking at £1,000 plus."
Turning his attention to the Aquatic 50p error coin which was part of the London 2012 Olympic Games collection, he described the error coin which features lines over the face.
He claimed a small handful of this original coin was put into circulation but it was then adapted to show the face above the water. And with very few of these out there, it means the coin's value has surged significantly.
And finally, the Kew Gardens 50p coin, but not just any kind... the gold version.
The collector concluded: "A gold-proof Kew Gardens 50p has recently sold for £6,800 at the Royal Mint online auction.
"The ultra-rare version of the sought-after Kew Gardens 50p was estimated to fetch between £5,000-£6,000 and did end up selling for thousands."
If you suspect you own any of these coins, the first thing you must do is get it checked by a professional who can give you a realistic value.
Just be warned by finding replicas online as the collector previously pointed out that there are many scams out there.
