A woman was left horrified after she found a nasty surprise while muching on a chocolate bunny treat.
The fan, who was named only as Chy, had hoped to tuck into a delicious treat but she was instead met with the shock of her life. When she bit into the bunny, she noticed something horrific inside. Speaking to outlet Kidspot, she said: "I sat down, opened the bunny and started to eat the ears. I went to take another bite and felt what I thought was hair. I turned on my video and flash in the lounge to look and thought I saw hair. Instantly, I wanted to vomit and started crying as I have huge issues with foods already."

But when she had a closer look, Gold Coast local Chy realised it was not hair inside and was, in fact, something more horrifying. She added: "I saw what looked like webs and was so focused on trying to film those, I didn't see what was in the bottom. There was a live bug, worm, meal moth moving around, dead ones and what looked like droppings from them."

Chy was so grossed out by what she had seen that she spent some time in the toilet after making the discovery. She later added: "You can hear in the video my shock when I saw that.
"Straight after I put it down and spent half an hour over the toilet vomiting and then continuing to make myself vomit because I was so stressed, worried and disgusted." But after making so many chocolate egg purchases in the weeks ahead of Easter, Chy was not able to remember what store she bought it at.
Because she was unaware what store she bought it from, Chy decided to go to Cadbury's directly. She claimed to have sent Cadbury's photos and alleged they responded to say "it's something called Indian meal moths and is common all over the , with all types of food."
Chy claimed Cadbury's offered her a $30 (£14.52) gift card though she argued it was not reasonable and asked for further details. In a response to Kidspot, Cadbury said there was no need for the public to be concerned and that this was an isolated incident.
A spokesperson said: "Our consumer care team provided expert support on 22 April to address this unfortunate experience with our product. We ensure the highest quality and safety measures within our manufacturing plants and support our transport partner’s standards however, it is difficult to control our products once they leave our care and make their way into millions of homes across .
"Our investigation found this was an isolated incident within the product batch. We communicated this information to the consumer and expressed our apologies for their experience."
The has contacted Cadbury's Australia for comment via email.
