Sue Cleaver has insisted on speaking to Vicky Pattison following her viral clip where she locked lips with her pooch. The Geordie Shore legend set the internet alight on social media over the weekend with a video where she opened her mouth wide while her dog enthusiastically licked inside her mouth. On Monday (August 25), anchor Christine Lampard, TikTok star GK Barry, and former EastEnders actress Nadia Sawahla, the Coronation Street legend issued a scathing comment to the budding Strictly Come Dancing star.
She argued that something had gone "seriously wrong" for her on the Bank Holiday special of the ITV daytime show Loose Women. Sue demanded: "I would like to speak to Vicky Pattison and find out why she opens her mouth. Something had really gone wrong in her childhood, something has gone seriously wrong!"
Vicky, who won I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! nearly a decade ago, is the proud owner of two dogs named Max and Milo, who she adopted with her husband Ercan Ramadan.
But even her fans believe the TV personality took things too far when she allowed her furry friend to lick inside her mouth. While featuring a brand called Butternut Box alongside a brand spokesperson, Vicky divided fans when she posed for a picture.
Called out immediately, Vicky was told she was "gammy" and her co-star sheepishly agreed, saying: "I know. I'm so sorry. The thing is, I do it too... it makes them happy."
Fans were not happy, with several flooding to the comments to share their disgust online. One repulsed follower penned: "I love my dogs like my kids but noooooo I couldn't."
Another agreed: "This is disgusting. Then you kiss your partner and kids after that, spreading bacteria." TV fans will soon see Vicky in a new light as one of the contestants set to wow viewers on the infamous BBC ballroom this winter.
She is among one of the 15 stars taking part in the glitzy reality show - with actress Alex Kingston and TV presenter Ross King among others taking part.
Speaking to former Strictly star Angela Scanlon - who competed on the show back in 2023 - Vicky admitted that she's not concerned about the Strictly curse.
During an appearance on the Get A Grip podcast, the TV favourite share her excitement for the show just one year after tying the knot with TOWIE star Ercan.
Speaking of the curse, she reassured fans: "So, obviously I'm newly married and the press are just wild, aren't they? I feel like the whole chemistry between couples can easily be misrepresented."
She added: "For that side of things, I would absolutely really love a gay partner, just because I don't want any of the rumours. But, you can't go around requesting things like that."
