Two separate flights were forced to divert mid-air this week after problems in-flight.
Aircraft were forced to land on both Friday and Saturday due to engine problems and disruptive passenger behaviour.
On Friday April 25, a Jet2 flight from to Spain's Alicante airport was forced to divert due to an unruly passenger on board.
After landing in Barcelona rather than the intended destination, local authorities were called to handle the situation.
According to news site , the flight looped around the Catalonian city of Sabadell before coming into Barcelona from the Mediterranean Sea.
Once on the ground, police removed the individuals responsible from the plane before the flight continued to Alicante.
In a statement to the , a Jet2 spokeperson said: "Flight LS881 diverted to Barcelona so that police could offload some disruptive passengers.
"The aircraft continued to it destination after a delay. As a family-friendly airline, we take a zero-tolerance approach to disruptive behaviour."
Following a three-hour delay, the flight finally reached its destination.
But the next day, another Jet 2 flight was plagued by difficulty as a Boeing 737-800 aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing in Budapest after engine problems.
Saturday's flight from Dalaman in Turkey to East Midlands Airport in England had to land after just over two hours in the Hungarian capital.
The flight had been cruising at an altitude of 36,000 feet when the issue occurred, at which point the aircraft was marshalled to the ground.
Passengers described the flight as having experienced a bumpy ride on approach to Budapest, similar to strong turbulence.
According to , the aircraft suffered an oil leak in its left engine, meaning the only option was to divert.
The plane has reportedly remained under maintenance in the Hungarian city as technical crews work to fix the problem.
