Jaipur: In a review meeting regarding preserving the heritage of Walled City in Jaipur, deputy chief minister Diya Kumari Tuesday instructed JMC Heritage to remove all banners and posters from the UNESCO Heritage site. During the meeting, a presentation was given to dy CM on the heritage value and beautification efforts of the Walled City. She also directed that the conservation and beautification work of Jal Mahal and Amer should start soon.
She instructed to keep Walled City area free from banners and posters, and ordered to install uniform-sized signage. She added that the overhead electrical and other wires should be made underground. Kumari emphasised that the development and beautification of the Walled City is a priority for the state govt. TNN
