Kochi: As part of Malinya Muktham Nava Keralam public campaign, all ayurvedic hospitals and dispensaries in Ernakulam district were declared green institutions on Monday. The initiative was under the leadership of Haritha Keralam Mission (HKM).
As part of the declaration, district ayurvedic medical officer Dr PG Geethadevi distributed certificates regarding the declaration at a meeting held at Govt Guest House. Ayurvedic medical officers, HKM resource persons and doctors from 105 institutions in the district attended the meeting.
A Haritha Samvadam was conducted in houses and hospitals across the district prior to the declaration. Green code of conduct was followed as a subsequent action. The public campaign was formally kicked off on Oct 2, 2024, Gandhi Jayanti Day, and it aims to declare a totally clean Kerala.
