JABALPUR: A guest lecturer at a private university in Madhya Pradesh's Dindori, 465km from Bhopal, has been sacked after being remanded in jail over a social media post in connection with the Pahalgam attack.
Naseem Bano had posted a video of Mata Sita's abduction in a WhatsApp group for colleagues, and a status on the terror strike, police said.
On the night of April 24, after Hindu outfits staged a protest at Kotwali police station demanding action against Bano for 'inciting religious sentiments', police registered an FIR against her. On May 1, the college got an official copy of the order to sack her.
