New Initiative Aims to Safeguard Exam Integrity Under the Public Examinations Act 2024

NEW DELHI: Ahead of the NEET UG 2025 exam, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a dedicated platform to report suspicious claims and activities related to the examination. This proactive measure supports the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, aimed at ensuring a fair and secure testing process for all candidates.

The NTA’s latest move focuses on combating unfair practices such as unauthorized access to exam papers, impersonation, and misleading claims circulated through fraudulent individuals and websites.

Candidates and the public can report suspicious activities through this platform until 5 PM on May 4, 2025.

Categories of Suspicious Claims You Can Report

The NTA encourages reporting under the following categories:

• Unauthorized websites or social media accounts claiming access to NEET UG 2025 exam papers.

• Individuals falsely claiming to have NEET exam content.

• Impersonators posing as NTA or government officials.

This initiative aims to protect candidates’ interests and maintain the examination’s sanctity.

In previous efforts, the Economic Offences Unit (EOU) had announced cash rewards for whistleblowers providing information about malpractices such as paper leaks.

• Exam Date: May 4, 2025

• Exam Timing: 2 PM to 5 PM

• Exam City Slips: Already released

• Admit Card Release: Expected by May 1, 2025

Admit cards will contain exam center details, important instructions, and candidate-specific guidelines.

Candidates are strongly advised to download their admit cards promptly and read all instructions carefully to avoid any last-minute confusion.
